Nia 5 Stages
The Nia 5 Stages is an integrative practice that re-traces the
development of the body’s patterns of movement through five basic
stages.  Starting with the embryonic stage, Nia 5 Stages brings you
through creeping, crawling and standing en route to the final integrative
stage of mindful walking.  Practiced with awareness, guided movement
through the stages helps produce optimal body alignment, efficient
movement, and body comfort.  As you increase your body awareness
over time, you will become more able to make the body adjustments
needed to achieve self-healing and energetic balance.  Whether
practiced at length or for as little as five minutes a day, this system
provides a tool for reclaiming and sustaining mobility, flexibility, strength,
agility and stabilit
